A total of 720 universities were included in "Medicine." Including MUW, only six universities from Poland were included in the list. Among them are: Jagiellonian University (ranked 251-300), University of Warsaw (ranked 451-500), Medical University of Gdańsk (ranked 551-600), Poznan University of medical Sciences (ranked 601-650) and Nicolaus Copernicus University (ranked 701-720). MUW maintained its position relative to the 2023 ranking.
About QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024
This year's edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject covered 55 academic disciplines from five subject areas: Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Life Sciences & Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences & Management.
Five indicators were used to prepare the rankings: academic reputation, reputation among employers, number of citations (Scopus database), H-index and IRN-index (International Research Network Index).
